At the same time as our hydraulic Jaw crusher we have taken into operation our mobile magnetic separator at the slag-landfill in the Czech republic.
This plant overall convinces through its construction design and flexibility. The plant was specially developed for a project in an iron-ore quarry for the enhancement of containing iron ore metals.
The first plants have been sold in summer 2012 and the latest plant of this type now went into the trial operation in the slag landfill.
Developed for a project in an iron-ore quarry, the mobile magnetic separator MS01 is also suitable for the
operation with slag, for the separation of fractions up to 50 mm.
Magnetic Separation.
The principle os the magnetic separation is already state-of-art. Specially permanent magnetic overband
separators are used in slag-separation because of their cost effectiveness. But the big disadvantage of these
separators are the dissatisfying results specially with the fine fractions. But just the fine fractions contain
the bulk of the scrap metal, partially the fraction lower 10 mm contains up to 50 % of the scrap metals.
Lots of the recycling companies shrink from the investment for a stationary magnetic separator caused by
the high investment costs and in the mature of the cases an investment does not make a financial sense
because of the size of the landfill and the quantity of the recycleable material. For this reason we have
developed a mobile solution and can offer an alternative plant with our mobile magnetic separator MS01.
Analysis during the operation in CZ.
Our mobile magnetic separator is left in operation for another 2 months with our customer in the Czech republic
to be able to get more results from the operation with the different materials there – to get more results regarding throughput and the produced qualities.
